Interlibrary loans within Australia | The AFI Research Collection is a not-for-loan reference collection that holds single copies only of monograph titles. Monographs will only be supplied for interlibrary loan to libraries outside the Melbourne metropolitan area (our inter-library loan symbol is VAFI).

International requests | AFI Research Collection monographs will not be supplied for international interlibrary loan except under special circumstances. International requests for the supply of photocopies from serials held by the AFI Research Collection can be supplied in accordance with the Australian Copyright Act.

Research services | Our staff can undertake research for users unable to visit. A range of charges apply. Please contact the Collection Librarian at afiresearch@rmit.edu.au.

Copyright | The AFI Research Collection is committed to meeting its obligations in relation to Copyright. Copying of print materials in response to requests from service users will only be undertaken after staff have obtained a signed photocopy declaration. In accordance with the Australian Copyright Act, staff are only able to copy published works on behalf of clients who require the information for the purposes of research or study.
